Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy describes how Islamic Arabic Learning Dictionary handles information through its website and learning features. The live services and actual data practices should be checked whenever the website is changed.

1. Account information

If you create an account or sign in, authentication is provided through Supabase. The service processes the email address and authentication information needed to create and maintain your account. The website owner does not receive or see your plain-text account password.

The app's profile records may include your user identifier, email address, display name, membership status, account creation time and Premium expiry date. These records are used to display your account and determine access to membership features.

2. Learning progress and device storage

Some learning information, preferences and progress may be stored in your browser on your device, including saved vocabulary, lesson or quiz progress, and app preferences. Clearing browser storage or site data may remove locally stored progress.

Some account-related information and app notifications are stored in Supabase. Depending on the feature, notification records may include a title, message, category, read status and creation time. Not every locally stored learning item is necessarily synchronised between devices.

3. Premium payments

Premium payments are processed by Paystack. Payment methods and sensitive payment credentials are handled by Paystack and the payment channel you choose, under their own terms and privacy practices. The app's payment records may contain a transaction reference, plan, amount, currency, payment status and relevant creation or verification timestamps. Do not send a mobile-money PIN, card PIN or password to the website owner.

A payment receipt or a pending status does not by itself prove that Premium access has been activated. Access is based on the app's payment verification process.

4. Hosting and third-party services

The website is hosted using GitHub Pages. Supabase provides account and database services. Paystack processes Premium payments. An optional translation feature may send the text you submit to the MyMemory translation service. These providers operate under their own privacy terms. Avoid entering confidential or sensitive information into translation features or public support channels.

5. Cookies, advertising and AdSense

Google AdSense is not currently enabled in this website's configuration. No AdSense publisher ID or ad-unit IDs are configured in the supplied project version. If advertising is introduced after approval, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to store or access information on a device, deliver and measure ads, and, where permitted, personalise advertising based on visits to this or other websites.

Before advertising is activated, this policy and any required consent or privacy controls must be reviewed and updated to reflect the actual ad products, visitor locations and applicable requirements. Visitors can learn about Google's advertising practices at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and review available controls at Google Ads Settings. Depending on location, additional choices may be available through aboutads.info.

6. Offline access

The website may use a service worker to cache selected site files for faster loading and limited offline access. Your browser manages this cache. Clearing site data may remove cached files and locally stored progress.

7. Data choices and account questions

You can manage some locally stored information through your browser's site-data settings. For questions about an account, profile information or privacy concern, use the Contact Us page. Do not include passwords, payment PINs or other secret credentials in a support message.

8. Children and sensitive information

Do not submit sensitive personal information through public comments, public issue trackers or optional third-party tools. A parent or guardian should assist younger users with online accounts and payments where required by the relevant service terms.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised when the website, its features or its service providers change. The date above should be updated whenever a meaningful revision is published.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, visit Contact Us.

This notice is a practical description of the supplied project configuration, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance. The site operator should verify it against the deployed website, provider settings and applicable law before enabling advertising or accepting payments.
